Ringing Up Items

Open section menu
  1. Once the correct menu has been selected (the POS screen looks like the one below and the menu items appear to be correct), the cashier is able to ring up items.

  2. Select the items the Customer wants. If a customer wants multiple of the same item, tap that item multiple times.

    Some items require a modifier. To add an item with a modifier to the order, first select the item. Next, select a modifier from the list, and finish by tapping update. After following these steps, the item will be added to the cart.

  3. Once all items have been selected and there are no discounts being applied, select the customer's payment method (Card or app)

  4. Accept Payment
    1. If paying with a card: Tap "Card" and have the customer insert or tap their card.

    2. If a customer wants to pay with Concessions Credit or Virtual Currency Select the app button in the cart:

      From here a screen with a QR code will appear (example below)

      Instruct the customer to scan this screen with the scan and pay portion of OrderNext: byuconcessions.ordernext.com/wallet/scanner

      Note: If the Concessions Credit balance does not cover the whole order, the customer must use a card to cover the rest ON THEIR PHONE you CANNOT split an app payment and a card payment on the POS.

  5. Payment is complete!
